Silicone mask making mold problems

Hey folks I have had real problems with clay from my sculpture sticking to the easyflo 120 mold. I used a release, macwax which didn't really help at all. Spent a day and a half cleaning it all off. Anyone had experience of the best clay to use to avoid this situation?

Are you using a silicone mold? I'm not familiar with Easyflo120, but my google search shows it to be a rigid urethane casting material.

Are you making rigid mold with the urethane?

Yes a rigid urethane mold for casting a silicone head. It warms up I think when setting and the clay sticks very badly to it. I think it may be the clay that I used so will experiment with other clays

Urethane reactions are exothermic, so that could be it. Perhaps put the clay form into the freezer before,,,nope that might retard the curing!
You're using a mold release of some kind?
