And if you do, what do you have to say about it? Is it as good as the promo pictures on their site?

I have one and it is pretty nice-- the paint job is very "Factory New" so it requires a lot of weathering to get the right post apocolyptic LA look.

Airbrush, pastels and careful use of silver rub and buff should do the trick.

Thanks for replying. Can you tell me if it can be disconnected from it's display, and is there any heft to it?

I've just ordered one of these, so i'll let you know what i think of it when it arrives.

Just wondering for those of you who has one already.

I have a first generation pull of the rifle off Stan Winstons original mold.
Looking at the rifle from the top, mine is a little warped, but that might be due to the fact my copy is made of almost solid fiberglass.

Like to know how the Sideshow Replica looks symmetry-wise from all angles.

Here is a pic of the sideshow compared with a pic of a real Stan Winston Endo rifle I took when I was at their studio last summer. You will see the grip area is different on the sideshow piece for some reason and the finish is more of a prestine version with almost no chrome look to it.

The smaller hand grip and different detail on the "Hero" Rifle is because a real pistol was used in that prop so it can fire blanks. (I forgot the name of the that pistol)

But IMHO, the blank firing prop's handle's looks funny because it's a little too small for the endo's hands.

I prefer the larger ones on the non-firing prop since that is how the plasma rifle is suppose to look like.

The gun on the tip of your tongue is the Calico M960 9mm submachine-gun.

My sideshow endo rifle arrived today. Its very nice :)
Its not as heavy as i thought it would be, you can hold it out at arms length with one hand like a pistol for as long as you like.
There is a plaque on both sides of the plaque mount which is good, so you can display either side of the gun.

I got mine from play.com in the sale for £199.99 shipped.

Keith.
