aaaaahhhhhhh just ordered mine too. What with this and a Weta Manmelter I'm going to have a very poorly bank account. Just about to move house so my wife is a gonna-o-so-kill me.
Still, dont want to be the richest man in the graveyard !!!

PS I dont know about anyone else, but the SS video was a definate selling point.

Loved the first Sideshow Samaritan I got, so you know I'm all over this one. Ordered one!

P.S. Did I miss this info - but with the exclusive version do you get the cool green tracer bullets AND the normal silver tipped ones too?

According to the video- YES to both sets of bullets- but only with the special edition offered now.
The 'normal' version will just have the metal bullets with it.

Holy hell, I just watched the vid and how the guy hefts the gun as he picks it up and the clink of the break action mech and bullets - so excited for this prop!

Check the Sideshow site. it shows a picture with both set's of bullets in front of the stand.

Yes I saw that, but pictures can sometimes just show everything it "might" come with. But others seem to say from the video you get both types with the exclusive version. Going to be a great item!

Man, that is probably one of the MOST impressive props/displays i've seen to date. Functioning metal prop, light up metal bullets, amazing display base. Fantastic. You guys are right, that clink of the metal is very satisfying.

And to think, a few months ago a 1/4 scale resin Samaritan sold for $350 on ebay. Still have mine I paid $30 for. Can't wait for this monster

very Nice. Although I have never been a fan of the comics or the creator I did really love the movie (and tried not too)

While I can't afford this, it is sweet, and it does mean later in the year there will be some of the original ones being sold second hand at a really good price.:rolleyes

Does anyone have an idea of how much this will cost to get to the UK?

The estimate on shipping is $28, so it should be $427 shipped, but what about VAT and other customs charges?

I really want to get the sideshow exclusive, but Forbidden Planet will ship the regular version from within the UK for less than £6, as much as I'd love the tracer bullets I don't wanna pay rediculously over he odds for them.

Any info is appreciated.

I got a quote of around 58 US-$ for shipping plus vat of 17.5%. But I can´t find any info in my confirmation mail that I actually ordered through the Euro-warehouse, although I went to the samaritan page through the picture link on the euro site ? I am a bit confused here ...

You should be ok then, for oversize/heavy items like this their auto shipping quote isn't correct I believe. If you use the shipping estimator tool on the euro site it comes out to what I said above.
I also noted it sez one per person too - take that gougers.

Thanks SAS, that´s a bit of consolation I can´t really imagine that they´d deliver anything from the U.S. if it is available in the EU warehouse, wouldn´t they ?

What I think happens is that they get everything delivered to their US warehouse and then ship it to the UK. That's what they did with the Endoskull I got last week from them. It took about two weeks for it to be transfered from the US to the UK.
