Sideshow Endoskull has Arrived!!!!!

The Terminator is officially made of "chrome nitrogenate liquid U2 alloy".

Where does this come from?

The Series number of a Terminator (e.g. T-600, T-800, T-850, etc) refers to the type of endoskelton/combat chassis it has. The Model number is used to denote what kind of flesh covering it has - Arnie is a T-800 Model 101. A T-800 Model 102 would have the same endoskelton as Arnie, but look like someone completely different.

So, a T-800 #101-B might be an "Armie" borg with a beard?
:lol

Where does this come from?

That information came from animated schematics that play at the very beginning of the "Making of" on the original VHS. I wrote and ran www.eTerminator.com a few years ago (it does not exist on the internet any more, but it was the most comprehensive site at the time and was featured on the official T3 website) which was made up of a collection of extensive research (from DVD extras, original scripts, novels, etc) done on the different Terminator types.

This is the image that I made, based on the line-drawing animated schematics mentioned above (i.e. all of the info is official):

Well then,
Guess I just got pwned. :redface

Still,..I prefer Titanium. :cool
(T-800 doesn't look like liquid metal to me)

Seriously, Thx for the info.

I got this answer from my friend over there:

Hi Chris,

I’m sorry but I cannot give out that information. I can tell you we first solicited this item for sale in April 2007 and sold it out in September or October 2007.

Thanks!

Just throwing this out there.

If you find the eyes are just a bit too bright for your tastes. You can replace the center battery with a "dummy" battery, I used some rolled up foil. And that reduces it quite a bit. Not nearly as blinding to the eye head on. Still powers down nicely with the fading effect.

Also just to remention....

The factory provided batteries have a longer positive contact then most.

So if you put in fresh batteries and the lights dont work. It's because those contacts are shorter. A little foil to take up the space will do the trick.

TC head was the Old ICONS head.

Which was SQUISHED when it was Molded.

THATS why it looks Short than the other. If you look at the SIDESHOW HEAD, it should be the same as the XFX heads that are out as they are from the same masters.

Wow! That thing is amazing. If you left it on the counter with the lights on and came upon it later, it'd scare the daylights out of you, even if you knew it was there.

I have seen pics where people have removed the weathering on the combat version, and converted it basically to a clean one, minus the rainbow of course. So that is possible apparently to do.

Great!!! Clean or Weathered??

The Battle Damaged (weathered) version. Only found one "Clean" one on ebay awhile ago....starting bid $750!!!:eek

Cessna.....I was just reading Father Jack's thread on the Statue Forum about removing the weathering...gonna be messing with the nail polish remover for awhile!

Yeah, might want to get the exact brand he used.
Maybe a clear coat after might be good idea for protection.

As always, test test test on something else or where it won't show.
