I have entertained the idea of purchasing a sideshow Darth Vader bust with the intention of converting it into a wearable reveal helmet. That being said I was hoping to get some information as to what the various components of the helmet are made of, both interior and exterior. Any help would be appreciated.

I think it's mostly a strong but brittle resin. I don't think it would hold up too well to Trooping.

It is indeed made of resin, polystone and plastic. It is quite heavy, not quite what you'd want for trooping in. You'll have also to get transparent lenses. I think you'd get cheaper with a fan made Vader helmet.
