Sideshow 1933 King Kong Stop Motion Armature - Price Drop

Buy now for 2000 USD
You don't have the permission to purchase
Released in 2007 by Sideshow, this is a reproduction of the "T-Rex Battle" King Kong armature from 1933 that was owned by Bob Burns. This is #123 of only 500 released. It is only missing the small tools that it shipped with - an allen wrench and screwdriver. Includes all original packaging.

This was the crown jewel of my collection. I displayed this in my office in a plexiglass case for a couple of years, then it went into storage. I'm downsizing and just don't have room for it.

$2000 plus shipping to continental US

Very few of these come up on the secondary market

Sad that Sideshow never did anything else from Bobs collection

Good luck with the sale, a serious Collector will scoop this up!!

Thanks! At the time, I was really excited about the Sideshow/Bob Burns product line. Not sure what happened. Seems like a real, missed opportunity.

Have one of these sitting up in my attic. Complete, still in its box and hardly ever taken out of the packageing. Just wondering did anyone ever do a build up of Kong using this as was talked about in this thread.
