Thank you for the kind words. Progress been slow, but I think in am getting there.

WOW! What an amazing build. Looks just like the studio version. I have tried converting the old Ertl kit to the filming miniature, but man is it a headache. The shuttle is my fav design from ROTJ. I really hope Bandai produces this soon.

Got fed up waiting for Bandai and decided to have crack at it myself. Have to say it’s not for the feint hearted though. So many tricky techniques to conquer and then there’s the kit list, which is quite big.

Progress update. It's been a while since my last post. This is the biggest project that i have ever undertaken.....so many components and sub builds, but i am on the last leg now with only a few bits to do.

Got a little request........... i am short on a few kit parts to complete this and was wondering if anyone might have some parts that would be willing to sell or trade? The kits are as follows.


Tamiya 1/35 Mobelwagen
Tamiya 1/35 8 Rad
Tamiya 1/350 Bismarck
And of course no project would be complete without a few Morser Karl bits

Little progress report on the ole girl. Laid down base coat using a 2:1 mix of Archive-X enamels using Reefer White & Concrete. Paint went down very smoothly and was very easy to thin, using bog standard white sprite. Still need to finish the forward gun array, just awaiting a Hasagawa F16A part, then it’s practically done, apart from panel colours and some lite weathering.

Tab, your awesome shuttle has inspired and motivated me to finally start on my own project, which was sitting on my shelf for so many years now, but never had found the courage to getting on to start it.

Kenner Hasbro Imperial Shuttle Tydirium Conversion to Studio Scale look

starting to convert the Hasbro/Kenner Toy Shuttle to more Studio Scale lookalike some heavy Cockpit modification

by the way, does someone here have any small piece of Koolshade (upper intake) or any shuttle donor parts or castings of it which he could sell me for my own project ?
