Show your Dr. Who props!

I remember the scene and seeing money coming out but they never made any big deal that he was on it. I thought it might be a story item that I missed.

I think the guy on the 20GBP was a producer, but yeah it is a more obscure prop. I think you can still get them from The Monster Company.

Is there some kind of law in the UK that they can't use real money for filming, a budget item or an easter egg they tossed in just to be a bunch of tossers?

I think it's a law everywhere, it's just usually a much more subtle change. The 20 pound was Phil Colinson, the 10 pound was Tennant.

Guess that would make since, especially if ya had film something where money was on fire or some other kinda de-facement, which is technically against the law.

This is the latest edition to my collection of Doctor Who-inspired Doctor Who props...

Getting the new emitter ready for my Davison Sonic.

Waiting for Russ on the FX sonic but I have the parts for the emitter and ring with probably the most annoying build for the emitter magnet I've ever done. It's amazing how hard it was for me to make the extension for that Alnico button magnet look seamless with the magnet. XD I originally wanted to use satin paint on that but the gloss matched the powder coat on the ring the closest. Just need a brass slotted screw for the magnet and then shorten down the pins and assemble.

Thanks to a tip-off on the RPF forum, I believe I have identified what an Etheric Beam Locator really is...

Least I now know what I am looking for! I ordered something similar on eBay, but I think I ordered the wrong model, but as it only cost £20 it is not the end of the world. I'll keep my eyes peeled for a Reflex Klystron VA22A Valve.

Only a couple of Who things here, but I have an MFX Cyberman head (#32)...

... and a "Tom Baker" scarf that my wife knitted.

So far, all I have is a TARDIS and a scarf that took my very talented daughter the better part of 5 months to make for me :)

Next in line in the spring is a K-9 replica build ;-)

Just started some work to a Davison sonic emitter. Nothing serious really, I just used the last custom powder coated emitter ring and removed the powder coat from the inside, found a bullet that's serviceable and made the custom magnet. This magnet was a bit more difficult since it's gloss. Every imperfection showed right through it so after painting it I needed to carefully sand it again and add another coat so it is smooth like glass.
