Show us your Star Trek costume

@iycis,

The boots you have aren't bad.

Maybe if you took them to a shoe-repair shop and had them take off 2 or 3 inches off the top?

I'll bet they'd look great. ;)

That's a good idea but I think I'll just hope I find something better eventually. These are still a $150 pair of nice leather boots and I would hate to alter them. I do get a lot of use out of them in day to day wear and other costumes.

I'm dying to make one of these for my boyfriend! Do you have a pattern or anything that you used? I would happily pay you for one!

I have a Spock I do, but this is the Mirror Mirror Spock that has crossed over into our dimension ;)

I also have a TNG Commander uniform

I will have a screen accurate Captain TOS tunic next month

Lots of very nice costumes in this thread.

Would it be too much to say that if you're going to take the time to wear a Starfleet uniform, you should be mindful to make sure the insignia is in the right place? Almost everyone here has it right where it should be, but there are a few egregious offenders. :)

Here is one I did. It's a second season Original Series women's command division uniform, I made her rank Captain... I was sick to death of only seeing women's uniforms with Lieutenants rank. Everything here is cannon. Yes even the phaser as Art Asylum Phasers were used in the episode "In A Mirror Darkly". Best part is, it was done for tons less than the Anovos ones. I wish I had a mannequin with a head. I could then make that a part of the piece.

@Feyth, Great costume construction. Very faithful and accurate. Do you wear it to conventions?
@ChrisNYR, Cool Captain's Wrap Around!

Good question, I haven't yet no... This piece has been finished for days only. There hasn't been a chance for me to wear it to any conventions as yet. As for the Captain's wrap I heard they are first rate, The only thing I don't like about them are the price. You shouldn't have to mortgage your life to get one of these. I had a look at the preproduction pictures... It's good work.

budashlock, L O V E your Klingon costume! I've always wanted to walk into a grocery store wearing a Klingon costume, walk up to the guy behind the meat counter and ask him with a straight face if he has any fresh gagh, (or perhaps the heart of a targ!)

All of you have wonderful Trek costumes! Fantastic work!
