These eyes are going to need another coat of clear they are about ready. So going to be another long hot busy day in the morning. I have a full plate of many things to have fun with and if I am not having fun I will just need to stop. But I always have fun and enjoy what ever I am making still so much more I got to do another duck sits already band sawed this one and getting it ready as well it will be a Mallard drake, this is a nice looking duck as well, I think I will push the envelope and do something crazy with this one I have always wanted to try this and I will be pushing or pulling might even be my hair that I don't have, hang around lots more of my crazy stuff going to blow and Thanks Guys for following along on me crazy adventures Thanks Jim

Okay Friends, Been doing a bunch of just messing around in the old shop. So the batmobile got 2 coats of paint, who ever had this before really took some sand paper to it and cut some really deep gouges all over it, just to say it does look better than it did but there is no fixing these sanding errors I got a final coat of clear on the eyes. I have been trying to figure out which way I will go on the batmobile, been looking at the dash also the turbine on the back which atm it doesn't have. Also I have been studying the next duck concept. Here is some of the fun I have been having and one side of my shop needs lighting and the pics are a bit dark Enjoy

Okay Guys, Thanks for the likes and comments, this keeps me making. So I am itching for another model build and looking at might be the cylon raider no telling with me, as the batmobile goes along kinda figuring this one out as well. Stay tuned lots more going to happen for sure Thanks Jim

Okay Friends, Thanks Guys for the likes and comments Thanks JamesM242 for following along on my crazy quest. Took a couple days off from the shop been hitting it pretty hard the last 3 weeks, but doesn't mean I wasn't in the shop looking around seeing what I could see. Had a bad storm rip through and my shop missed a bullet but sadly not the pool it was destroyed by some big tree limbs which insurance should cover. I will have a major clean up once the adjuster stops by. Now for models I have had this project scratching at me for some time now, just the concept of doing it is far from me cause some of the models required is out of my realm Okay Guys the model is a Battlestar Galactica a bit more than half scale and not full studio scale. I had the salzo half studio scale galactica but along with 200 other models was destroyed and crushed in a roof collapse a few years ago I was able to get everything else from the storage only after they cleaned up a way for me to get to them and that it was safe I still have way to many models well over a thousand might be even more. I have told this story before, I have reached out to salzo with no answer which leads me to probley understand this model was retired and salzo only does commision work now. Heck I even tryed getting a commision done by him of this ship I would really love to have a full studio scale one but rite now that is out of the question. So with my skills I think I am going to tackle this on me own with no other models involved well might be some. I have all the research I need to get on this quest and sence I went to the studio scale thread on here about this ship it has put a new calling to me doing this project, I do however still have other projects happening in the old shop I must finish this batmobile to get done then a tv series one to do in 1/4th scale which is coming down the pipe at me along with so many other things. So in the old shop its about to get real busy I do Thanks all for following along and the quest gets bigger I do have a mobius models bsg which I will mess with along the way Lots more bout to happen stay tuned see what happens next Thanks Jim

Okay Friends, Thanks JediMicheal for the likes and for following along. Thanks All for the comments and likes. So non coverage for the pool sadly next spring we will get another to late now to think about a pool setting on up is a big job. Now for cutting up some kinda big limbs. So in the shop I have been studying the justace leauge batmobile. Also been thinking about the Galactica I will have another half studio scale if I make it me self. But other projects are ahead of that atm its in deep thinking process, I do belive I can do it we shall see down the way. Okay I been studying on how I will do this car it will now have a floorboard and console. I have been preping for this as well as studying on it as well today the game plan came into me head and onward Enjoy

Yep me shop missed a quite big limb which took out the pool big clean up bout to happen Thanks Guys for following along on me crazy quest hang around see what happens next Thanks Jim

Okay Friends, Thanks guys for all the likes and comments. So today was busy in the shop I a mallard head glued on after bandsawing it all out. also now have the floorboard in the justace leauge car. All is smoothing along saying such I tryed me hand at trying to get all the gouges out of the body, I am not sure about how this is working but it looks alright a bit better. Looks like someone took a scraper to it did not notice this till after the paint went on cause the body looked ready was I wrong. We shall see how far I need to go with this sanding. What will happen next is the console and working my way to the dash. Here is some fun from today Enjoy

IMG_0860.JPG
Yep somebody didsome major scraping on this car but we shall see seems like the blue paint is like a guide coat its going totake some paients and lots of elbow grease I will get it there I hope. Also bout to have another duck going. I wait 3 days after glueing the head on cause I want the glue to cure well then I will buzz some wood. Yes the batmobile will have a full cockpit or interior with console and gauges of all types it is a big model, I just have to figure it all out in me head and make parts. My Friend will have his Justace Leauge batman and robin sitting in it for a display in his store hes the guy that I did the Mando ship for that was delivered a year ago this month wow a year done gone by where have I been yep in the shop. Okay Guys hang around see what happens next. Thanks Jim

Okay Friends, Thanks for the likes and comments I take it all to heart. Thanks JamesM242 I do alot of crazy stuff in me shop. So did a bunch of thinking and now a console is in play. Really still thinking as I go but it is coming along. Also done a bit of sanding whilest I was sanding away I was thinking about the Galactica its going to happen all hand made about 4 1/2 or 5 foot long all done up I got to do this I miss my other Galactica that got crushed along with about 200 models which was replaced but sorry to say not the Galactica they had to keep everything for the clame other than the models I replaced some took a few years to get back but the money was there to replace them the money from the Galactica went for tooling all this was way back I think I might even have a post or two of my build whilest I was building it turned out nice nice got crushed that build is on RPF some where. This project will happen along the way. So yep I should have got more pics today but wifey had me doing flips console coming into form Enjoy
IMG_0861.JPG
IMG_0862.JPG
Yep all that gorilla glue got sanded down never seen glue foam up like that its cool but now I know how to control it. This is only the begining of this interior lots more got to happen not even including the sanding. I do want this Galactica once again the only way is build one I do have the moebius kit which I will build just for refrence which I have all the studio scale pics of every angle. Wow what a itch I have for this I guess I better start scratching Yes that thread is called half studio scale Galactica build many fellows was building one Mine is in there some where. So thanks Guys lets see what happens next Thanks Jim

Okay Friends, Thanks Guys for the likes and comments. I tryed looking for that thread but I guess it got to old it might be in all of my post I have a arcive of builds on here seems like. Well in the shop did some studying new project hit me as well, I now have to sculpt a prince the singer bust or might be a whole figure we are still talking on this leaning bust. The Galactica will be in the shadows as dust for the moment, as I gather material for the build sheet styrine is on the list so far might have to check my tubing stock I know I will need some channel about 6 foot long lots of gathering bout to happen. The 1966 tv batmobile is in me head got to start pulling that out a bit of material is needed for that. So now for what is happening next I think the sanding is coming along and got a console happening and some nice floorboards Enjoy

IMG_0873.JPG
Okay guys this area looks alright still some smoothing on all of it still a ways to go as I think this up as I go. many projects bout to be started it juggling time a bit here a bit there Thanks Guys for following along see what is going to happen next a bunch Thanks Jim

Keeping busy, thats for sure.
I'm also jumping all over the place.
One weird goal Ive had since 1995, is play through the Super Nintendo game, Chrono Trigger, 99 times. On avarage, it can take a few days to play through. Playing the Playstation re-release from 2001, I'm currently at 59 playthroughs.
I'll be starting 60 here soon and have a whole video planned out, so Ill be recording parts as I play. Then I'll record parts from the sequel.
Once I'm done with that video, I think I'll jump back on the Metal Gear Rex model I started lasr year.
Once done with that, I have a cool project in mind, but I'll wait until I'm closer to reveal it.
I do need to get a job, as now I'm living off my savings.
Been applying places....which I hate doing and trying to find a job. Ughhhhh.

Okay Guys, Lots happening in the shop. never a dull moment out there and no bugs that bite like last summer Got me some zappers in there and they work. So been collecting up stuff for the Galactica build that is going to happen here soon. I figure if I can make 10 parts a day to stick on it then I might make some progress, but first I need the armiture then the frame work then some skinning then all the bits bam a Galactica yep I do have a itch use to watch that show everytime it came on even them finding earth episodes. Loved them all I would also like to build a shuttle from the tv series as well I will have to make some tiny vipers and shuttles to sit in the landing bays its going to be a epic build clean and nice. I might not get much done tomorrow cause have to deliver these eyes pick up some autographs from micheal myres and jason vorhees the actors that played them. Yep mask fest is coming up on the 18th I think now Lugosi mask now has some cool eyes for his display. As far asPrince he is still in foil mode making a armiture for him Thanks All for your kindness, This is what RPF is about. Hang around see whats going to happen next and thats a bunch Thanks Jim

Looking good. More creepy eyes...lol.
Recording all the game footage is going well. I've recoded over 200 short videos, then once I'm finished, move on the to sequel....more a loosely based sequel, but still, once done, it will be all edited down to just over 5 mins.
I actually had this little idea for a short video.
The game, which came out in 1995, is a time traveling game. Whats interesting, is theres like 14 different endings depending on where you are at in the game and when you go beat it, which you can do at any point. If you get through the whole story, then theres two versions of the main ending.
Also, the main character lives with his Mom and has one cat....but, you can actually win more cats from this little game at a fair, within the game. Its VERY time consuming. I spent nearly 3 hours getting up to 9 cats. You can get up to 11, but I was tired of it.
So to put it into perspective, the video quickly cuts to winning a cat, seeing them all at his house, going and beating the game, and then the results from all that.
