That one looks really good. Is that the 2nd duck, or are you on three?
I lost track.
Yep number 3 it does look cool burned but this will also be painted I know how you feel lost track I do that a bunch .
I really like the effect of the individual feathers in the wings

Thanks for the cool comment I try for a realistic look which is very hard but cool when done lots of work Thanks Jim

Okay Friends, Thanks a bunch for the cool comments and likes very much needed as I makest along really helps the spirit of making. This is what RPF is about. So lots of burning and later this evening I had to stop me old eye type balls was getting hard to see, all those lines start running into each other. But I am now able to switch back to burning the right way from the front heading to the back and it is a bit quicker. Just keeping the lines from running into each other break time when that starts to happen this duck it getting close to paint. What happened next well lets see Enjoy

Get ready bout to jump into hyper space
IMG_1105.JPG
I give the feathers a coating of super glue it makes them hard that is why they kind of shine a bit also a bit of epoxey clay for filler
IMG_1106.JPG
All this will be fine tuned as we go
IMG_1107.JPG
I will have to grab a pic from under you can see all the feathers from top to bottom this reason for burning both sides
