Sherlock Holmes Collection

You did such a great job with this. I started watching some of the episodes again. It is such a joy to see how Jeremy Brett enveloped that role, even all these years later. His performance as Sherlock Holmes was a true 'tour de force'; an exceptional piece of filmmaking as well, the entire series. I consider myself lucky to own them.

Thank you so much for sharing the high resolution Reichenbach Falls file! I have been looking for a high quality copy I could print at full size!

Truly miss Brett, he definitely is THE Holmes. I have just finished watching the entire series again. My set is the DVD and I am half thinking of buying the Blu-Ray set but I have an old rear projection Hitachi big screen I am keeping alive to watch the older DVDs that doesn't play well on these new-fangled high-quality televisions.

Has anyone identified what the two pictures with the arched topped matting are on the opposite side of the room above the liquor table are? I would like to print those as well.

deck5 That looks so cool! Ever since the newer movies with Robert Downy Jr, I've been obsessed with Sherlock Holmes. I've read some of the stories and have seen some different versions as well. Both movies and tv series. I'm a pretty big Victorian addict, so been working on antiquing my house a bit with furnishings. Right now I'm kinda in a tight space, but eventually I want a big open living space to recreate Baker St parlor. Looking to base my design on the Sherlock Holmes Museum in London. No room for a portable fireplace mount, but hopefully my next move I can do something similar, along with a dining area and Watson's desk, since I have a near mint condition Royal typewriter. This is a little peak at my temporary "Sherlock" office area so far. It's a mixture of Sherlock and Holmes things. Some medical books, Scientific instruments, physician books, an original 1880's silk map of London with Baker Street, photos and test tubes, ect. Currently on the eBay hunt for a good brass microscope and bulls eye lens within reason. Totally jealous of your space though!

deck5 Yeah, don't I know it! I love all the clutter, as long as it's all cool stuff. It's so cozy in here, and I think I can still fit quite a lot more. My goal is to basically not see the walls haha! I love this map! It was a really good find on eBay. That's where I get 70% of my stuff, aside from furnishings, which I found on Craigslist from hunting around. The map is from the mid to late 1800's I believe. It's printed on real silk, which has some frayed ends. What's great is if you look close towards Regent's Park on the upper left corner, you'll see Baker Street and where Sherlock's Home is. Looking for some more maps and architectural photos too add. One day I hope to do something like Dennis Sever's House in London, which is a livable museum, although with a 19th century design vs his 18th century. http://www.dennissevershouse.co.uk/the-tour/

Greetings, all. I am new to this thread. I have a passion for collecting tea sets from the Brett, Burke, Hardwicke Sherlock Holmes series. Does anyone know the name of the tea set that appears in "The Resident Patient"? It appears in the scene in Mr. Blessington's bed-chamber after his body is removed.

Hiya, several years ago I downloaded a scan of the Reichenbach Falls falls in a Tif format that I made into a print which I still have hanging up. Obviously with time it has faded a bit as I didn't print it with the best quality.

Long story short I went through my old files, now going back almost 10 years, to print myself another and I cant find the file. I may still have it, but for the life of me I cannot find it

I have then been turning over the internet upside down for a couple of years looking for that original (Which was outstanding) when I realised it must have been your version, which seems is no longer downloadable.

I was wondering if anyone still had that file and could share it.

Thanks.
