Sheriff Andy Taylor Screen Used and Screen Matched Badge

Interesting how the two Deputy badges above have the six-pointed star at the bottom oriented like some of the Sheriff badges, but other Sheriff badges have it oriented differently. I would suppose that all the original Sheriff and Deputy badges would be the same except for the lettering.

Thing is, the Andy Griffith Show ran from 1960-1968 and Mayberry RFD until 1971, so we're talking over a decade of badges being worn.
