The character of "Sid Richardson" in the recent SGT Rock series, "The Lost Battalion" by Billy Tucci:

Okay, here's the kicker, Billy Tucci actually did draw me into the comic book as a thanks for helping him out with some research, and my name is in the back of the complete bound edition under the 'thanks' section, "Sid Richardson" was actually my grandfather (and no he wasn't a correspondent in WW2). Is that cheating in a way? rolleyes I'm so tempted to wear this to the Seattle Comic Con next month with a copy of the comic book with me...
