I know this is the wrong section to post this question, but more read the prop section than the modeling section, but please move it there, if necessary.
I am looking for info on the outfit - the shirt with the straps, pants with the stripes, browncoat jacket, belt, holster, etc - Mal Reynolds wore in Serenity... not for a costume, but as reference for sculpting a 1:6 scale figure. I finally plan on taking a stab at sculpting and since I'm currently nuts about Firefly / Serenity I thought I would try to start there.
I have searched many of the costume topics on the board and have seen many cool reference pictures of the real outfits and fanmade ones... though, would appreciate any additional info that anybody has and are willing to share - such as patterns on the jacket and shirt, etc. and the look of the boots.
Anybody having tackled recreating the outfit for a costume might have interesting details and tidbits to share that are not obvious when simply looking at pictures and would definitely help in the effort of making a cool figure. I'm sculpting it, not sewing it... as I never did think clothes in that small scale ever looks right.
Thanks for looking and hopefully, with the help of you guys, I may be able to begin working on this project soon.
