Serenity: Maidenhead Bar Bottles

Whitefall did a version of the second one you posted.

I also did the "Earth That Was" whiskey label that was on propstore. Prints out at the correct size at 300 DPI:

Any pictures of the whiskey bottle on screen? Are there any products I can find in stores that match the whiskey bottle, or the above green alliance bottle?

And last, is the whiskey bottle seen in Serenity, or just the Firefly series?

Here's a cap from Serenity showing the Earth That Was Whiskey Bottle...

It goes by in a flash, literally, as River spin kicks some poor *******.

It's the one on the far right, the short one.

Trying to get a better look at those other bottles...

Anyone know anything about that tall Blue Sun one?

Looks like a wax seal on the ETW whiskey bottle, I'd guess it's one of those bottles you get full of decorative vinegar or oil etc, I rarely see wax seals on modern alcohol bottles.

I stuck my label on a Canadian Club bottle since I wanted it to have real whiskey in it. I also liked the bottle glass because it's brown, makes me think old west when I see a dark brown bottle.

That Blue Sun bottle is definitely odd. The bottom looks like a standard plastic pop bottle, but I've never seen one with the top like that. Looks like I came pretty close to their label when I made my Blue Sun cola label. :)

Yeah, I thought of that... if you could get a bigger screen shot of it I'm sure you could hammer out a new lable no problem.

Anyways, a slight lead on the green bottle: there are a few glass spring water bottles... I couldn't pinpoint one though. The old style Mountain Valley bottle looks promising, you can get one here - though that picture looks off... :confused

Wow, great find, that definitely looks close. Now on to that wiskey bottle.

That blue sun water bottle looks a lot like an Evian 1 liter water bottle (notice the faint semi-swirl pattern up above the label), but the neck is much taller, and the bottle is thinner too. Maybe an Evian bottle from a different (as in non-US) market?

I'm wondering if maybe that screen cap aspect ratio is off... could someone possibly get a larger, clearer cap perhaps?

Hi .

Not from french market , because they sell 1.5l plastic bottle .

I am not sure but it could be an 1 liter italian spring water called "San Pellegrino".
I am looking to find a picture ...

I found the San Pellegrino bottles as well - but they appear to have some embossed writing around the lower neck area that isn't on the prop bottle so I voted them out of my possibilities. See for yerself :confused

Here's a cap from the HD version, maybe it'll be a little more helpful.

Linked for file size - It's nearly 6 megs, but I wanted to leave it uncropped and uncompressed so as to not introduce any additional artifacting into the image. :)

Hmm, that Blue Sun bottle in the front looks like it's just some kind of plastic water bottle. Look how the bottom of it is shaped.
