Sept '08 Bug List...

There might be a bug with resetting passwords. A user tried to have a reminder sent and was presented with a "random question" that didn't work once answered, and when I tried to have his PW emailed to him from Admin Panel, it also gave me an "incorrect answer to random question" error message, even though it hadn't even asked me one.
 
Also, the form for emailing RPFHelp seems to cut off emails at around 400 characters.

This is the first question-bug I've seen... will look into it.

But just a quick question: what answer did you give, and for what question?

What browser are you using, and what version number? Same question for operating system (Windows XP?). I'll look into rebuilding your profile although I think it's client side, not a server issue.

Also, update your profile info. You're missing a lot of info like birthday and such that might affect your profile indexing.

I was not presented with a question at all!


Oh, and scratch the 400 char limit thing on the help emails. I was blind and didn't see the scroll bar. :$
 
Another bug:

In Admin Panel, when I need to look up a user, it will only work the first time I do it. When I finish with one user and return to the main page to enter another, it'll tell me no such account exists when it really does. I have to log out and log back in again for it to work. This has necessitated three embarrassing emails from the help account where I had to say "whoops, looks like you do exist after all!"

Junkyard and Off-Topic posts don't count anymore, but I see your total as 31 under your nick and on your stats page.
 
I'm getting real annoyed having to reset my theme every day when I log in. I know it's not hard to do, but it's still annoying.
