My studio scale Red 5 X-Wing arrived.
I will post pics when I have done the final assembly, but Tim Blanchard did a killer job painting and building this fighter for me. The weathering is exceptional.
My intention with my studio scale stuff has been to display them on Icons bases, as idealized versions of what Icons used to offer but with more accurate, unique and individual features. So far my fleet features only ANH stuff, Vader's TIE and the standard TIE (built up by myself) and this CC X-Wing done by Tim Blanchard (since I suck at weathering lol). I am building a Y-Wing and hope to find a painter that can do a great job with it similar to what Dan did with his.
So if anyone has an Icons X-Wing base available, please give me a holler. I am also looking for an extra TIE base to use under my Y-Wing buildup.
