Second Doctor Recorder

Always kind of avoided making one of these, even though I really wanted one, because I dreaded the idea of having to do a corkscrew paint job. Now that I've finished it, I think it worked out pretty well! It's not the accurate recorder model, just an old hand-me-down from my sister that I spray-painted, gave a chrome ring with some aluminum tape, and some green tassels made out of embroidery floss. I was trying to figure out what to use to attach the tassels to the base of the recorder, so as a temporary measure, I used a small blue cable tie.

Honestly, for using pretty much no accurate materials, I think this turned out pretty well!

Love it! Definitely going to be doing this for my Troughton cosplay. Looks fairly straightforward to do, I assume you just wrapped it with painters tape for the mask?

Yep! Oddly enough, that was one of the easier parts. I might touch-up the paint at some point. Humid CA weather and spray paint aren't the best pals.
