I never see all these people even though I'm there!
Granted only for one day.
So it's good to see what people are up to.
The girls do get a lot of attention but they won't be young forever so it's enjoy it while they can and have some pics to show the grandkids when Granma was Wonder Woman for a day.

Two events spring to mind
MCM London Expo.
London Film and Comic Con (LFCC)
no where near the size of the SDCC (or dragon con for that matter) but big enough, especially London Expo which had over 47000 people attend over 2 days in May and plans to have double that for the October event.
Expo has a large anime turn out but the comic/game/film cosplayers are growing in size. Its very much as showcase expo of new stuff coming out. Of course being UK we dont have that many films/tv that start or premier here (even Torchwood got shown in US before UK now! grrrrr ) But they do get alot of game companies showing off new games and such. In October expo is merging with another of their events memorabilia which is very much a signing event..hence the larger amount of people they plan to have attendingt.
LFCC is very much a signing event with a smaller amount of promotion of things. But the cosplay side is growing there too.
These are ones i attend, so can attest to how good they are.

That's British, um, adult entertainment actress Tanya Tate, who in the last couple years has discovered costuming as a hobby! She's become a regular fixture at cons on the West Coast! She's also now a member of the Green Lantern Corps Message Board! :cool
Shame she doesn't have an ElectraComp, or DynaGirl

This is hands down my favorite girl from the whole thread. Cute cute cute without hanging out all over the place or pounding on any bondo make-up.

I think she would make a helluva Jessica from Logan's Run.
But I suppose few would recognize the character these days.

+ 1 and I would! But I think Con security might escort her out of the building in that outfit. It wouldn't take much more than an ant sneezing to cause a wardrobe malfunction.

That's actually a picture I took at Anime Expo. I did see her at Comic-Con, but I didn't manage to catch up to her.
