:lol you know it ! its fairly easy i did this with a soldering iron by hand then scraped out some of the burnt leather .
 
Truth be known, I haven't even gotten my journal yet as I have to get everyones journal to them first..........................:$ Oh but when I do I am going to have to give old Marky Mark a run for his money.........:love I have some REALLY COOL things going into the journal and I can't wait to share them with everyone on here.......................:)

I am going to have the HW put into the second run but I asure everyone this was just done to the original not to long ago as I have photos of the ORIGNAL JOURNAL and there was NO HW on it at the time I started doing my run......................:eek DAMN HOLLYWOOD!!!!!! :facepalm Also they darkend up the leather with more oil/dye as the journal was a lot lighter before this last episode........:confused

:popcorn lol i look forward to seeing yours brother ! i know i seen that it was like red-ish brown but im on the fence if i wanna chance it on trying to match it or not . dont wanna screw it up :facepalm
 
I keep coming back to this thread and i keep wanting one of these. Please keep me abreast of the next run.
 
OK guys/girls,

I have got six people possible seven for my next run. I am only going to do ten of these this time as it seems everyone is wanting the hand traced pages which takes me forever to do plus they reak havic on my eyes. So I have four to three spots open to anyone wanting one. I'm not saying I won't be doing these again I'm just saying it is going to be awhile (maybe the fall/winter of 2013) as I have too many cars I have to build plus I have to give my eyes time to heal.............................:$ If you want on my list just let me know.......................:cool The run will start as soon as the Bobby Flask Cover is run is finished which shouldn't be to long now..........:eek
 
Judging by the photos posted here, this is the most accurate (and beautifully made) journal I've seen! While I'd love to jump in on this coming run, I doubt I'll be able to scrounge up enough dough in time. So, I'll keep my fingers crossed that a future run happens.. and when it does, I'll be first in line for that one :)

THANKS for all the GREAT replys on the journals........................:) I do have to amdmit they are pretty freaking cool but in the same breath thery not that fun to make as they are so time consuming.......................... :confused

As stated above I only have 2 spots left open on this run and I'm not sure when I will be doing another run as I just have so much on my plate at the present time but I promise I will do at least another run (even though I may be blind by that time..................:$).

To get on this run (last 2 spots) the journal has to be prepaid for to assure your spot on the run. Payment can be sent through Paypal using my email address (projectthx138@hotmail.com) or if you need to send payment the old fashion way just let me know and I will get you over my mailing address. I will also need to know what journal you will be wanting. The first journal is the standard model ($250) which has everything except the hand traced pages. The second journal is the deluxe model ($350) which has everything as the standard model except it has the hand traced pages.

I will post again when the journal run is full...............................

I forgot to mention that the standard journal still comes with the original pages as I will email them to you so you can trace them out yourself. BOTH journals will come with extra pages of stuff to add to your journal (if you choose to put them in yur journals) as I will email several pages of stuff, once I get your email........................................:cool
