Scream robe

Thats what I thought as well. Look forward to hearing about your next chat with him. Im going to start screen capping Scream 3 here in about an hour. Ill start with that one since thats the costume we are mainly dealing with.

Ive started taking some shots from Scream 3. There is a cool featurette on the making off all 3 films.

Check out the mask in part one LOL

One interesting thing I noticed. When ghostface is hiding among the other costumes his knife holding hand comes down through the sleeve. Was there another costume that didn't have the gloves sewn in?

I should have the rest of the killers scenes done this evening and anything else on the DVD worth capping.

Yes for that shot they had a special robe without gloves. Only a few of the costumes hanging on the racks are actually real. Mainly the ones in the front. The rest is just like a sash with a hood and mask. made out of the same material.

Scream 3 all done, uploading to my photobucket now. Ill get to work on the special features tonight then do Scream 2 tomorrow.

Screamfan how did the pictures turn out this morning?

Neo just messaged me I asked could he make a replica robe he says he just bough one made with the same material. He says its on sale for $300. Too bad I dont get paid until next week if you guys want it its on sale.

Great another poster named Screamfan haha. JK. Just dont get us confused.

Anyways, yes there are some amazing shots from the mansion scene. You did a great job. I cant thank you enough! Maybe I can finally get around to putting together a little framed still collage to go with my costume.

Sorry I've been out of the loop for a few days. Just had surgery - getting back into the swing of things.
If there are others offering these robes for sale, good deal. Me and screamfan still have plans to make these available to EVERYONE through the robe maker's website. Hopefully, we can get a 'standard' version that will cost around $250.
I will keep you guys updated - right now I'm corresponding with screamfan privately to hammer out all the details and then forwarding that information to the robe maker. I am having them send a fabric sample to him for his comparison - even if it's not the EXACT same fabric, as long as it's close enough to the point where it gives us the same look, we will go forward.

Glad your surgery went ok and glad to have you back. Should have those photos for you in the next couple of days.

Oh yeah, caught the prop guy for a few moments again tonight. Was able to ask about the eyes. He said the fabric is identical, but the stuntmen wore black makeup all around there eyes and on their eyelids. Mystery solved!

Good news. I for one am fine with a "close enough" fabric. I'm moreso interested in the overall quality and accuracy of the pattern and it seems like you guys have that on lock down.

Heres a preview of the KNB sculpt I'm working on, it still needs alot of work but I'm not going to stop till it's perfect. I've wanted one of these since I first noticed it when scream came out on VHS.

That mold looks absolutly amazing. Before I read what you wrote when I first looked at the pics I thought "where the hell did he get the KNB mold from?" haha

Very very cool, been wanting one of these for a long, long time. Too bad that fabric has to be so damn hard to find...
