Glad to see progress for selfish reasons of course. Looking amazing so far. Can i ask what is your paint for the hull/aztecs? Is it white or light grey with slightly darker grey? I know some people mix/match gloss/matte paints for the effect, just curious as I'm building the much smaller AMT kit. Thanks!

Well, the hull's gloss white, then i did the aztec in Tamiya as-5 light blue....then oversprayed with gloss white until i got the subtlety i wanted...here's a pic of the aztecs before the gloss white....

Nice, I think the white balance of the photo didn't make the blue color come out on screen (I took a photo into Photoshop and lowered the red tone and now I see it) very cool.

Phil, this is nothing compared to your 32 inch Falcon!

Decals are sorted, Jeff at JT Grafix did me some! And a friend upscaled some of the 1:537 detail decals.

Egad! :eek I don't follow this thread for a bit, and look what happens, lol.

That's some absolutely stellar-looking work there, Rich! I didn't think it was possible, but everything you do with this build just makes it better and better!

Like others have said here, looking at this it's hard to believe this isn't a ready-made kit. The level of detail and accuracy is just amazing.

So, when do you think you'll need my two junked 1:350 PL Refit E's to do up that conversion kit? *nudge nudge wink wink*

Decals are looking excellent on the kit! Did someone make up any PE parts for you on this like impulse engines etc? I mean it doesn't need it but hey why not? Also nice touch adding the shuttle bays. I'm almost afraid to ask how many hours you have into this project.

I've done some more painting/decalling/detailing to the lower hull....
