Scout Trooper pistol Qeustion(s)

I've been building up a Scout trooper pistol, and am a little lost on the scope details, as well as some other weird questions.

1.Which scope is used? The one with the front clear peice or the solid black single point.

2. How is the scope attached, I'm unable to track down a pic.

3. Is the pic of the blaster in the Visual Dictionary a stunt, or a hero.

4. Is it me, or is the grip from the front of a Tommy Gun?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm mostly lost, cause my DvDs are back in Maryland, and I'm working/living in Ohio now.
