They have a very cool bar/crate if you are interested (loks like a crate with "Cairo Museum" etc on it. Would make a good stand up bar, or if laid over, a large coffee table. :) They have other Egyptian themed theater stuff if you are interested I can send you the link.

Awesome find! :thumbsup

For that price I'm sure you can make room for it. lol

Thanks again guys!

I'm sure it could be reworked but for now I'm happy with it. I was thinking I may try to find some gold fabric I can draw some lines on (maybe in brown) to roughly reproduce the recessed side panel. I can have it attached from the inside with rare earth magnets so that it can easily be opened to access my games etc..just to make it look a bit less like a fireplace. ;)

Thanks again guys! :) I love how it looks in my living room when it's dark out and the only light I have on is the detolf one. I would like to incorporate my Ikea torch lights that flicker but the ugly cord hanging from them is a real eyesore.

Gold Lame Fabric

I'm thinking something like that attached from the inside (at the bottom) with rare earth magnets sewn into the cloth and securely fastened at the top likely with staples so only the bottom can be freed by pushing it open, then I can hide my junk inside and it won't be visible. Magnets in the right spots should pull it closed when the "door" is dropped. Some brown or a different shade of gold to give it some indication of the artwork and it should work. :)

Just wanted to post a quick update. My gold fabric arrived so Icut off a piece and taped it inside to see how it will look. Of course once I find a needle and thread I'll sew up the edges and sew in magnets to attach the corners.

The fold creases almost give the illusion of the artwork. I may just skip that entirely....

Awesome... You know what would be cool? A door what you can open and whats made of the relief what you can see on the movie ark...

Thanks guys. The cloth hanging inside is my easy fix for the "door". I was considering drawing on the artwork with a metallic sharpie..I may do that when I make a proper curtain that attaches with magnets.

We have an event on the 5th of July and were looking for something just like this. Would you be interested in selling it a reasonable price?"

Sadly it was one of the things I lost in the flood last year. :(

What is the event? in Calgary area?

I am heart broken to here it was destroyed in a flood. The Ark is just not meant to be in the hands of mere mortals.
