Any idea how long Gus intends to extend the loan?

The total was a year. There's probably about 6 months left.

The vader's bottom half was painted silver, the Luke was a remarkably clean Graflex that looked like any half-arsed fan could have put it together. I don't give a rip whose name was on it, it's as genuine as anything Jason Joiner was ever involved in.

What's the point of this musuem exhibit if some of the props aren't real? And why have vintage SW figures - heck, any figures at all?

I'm glad this was bumped! I'll be in Seattle next week for work, and now I know where to spend some down-time. :thumbsup

I was there last December. Awesome collection. You CAN take pictures. You're not supposed to... but if the posted attendents aren't looking, you can turn off the flash on your digital camera and try to sneak a few shots of something you really love. Good luck. If you get caught, please disavow any knowledge of this post. Thank you.

You'd get in MORE trouble for pointing the finger. Imagine saying this:

"But...but...arc60 from the RPF forum told me to do it...I can proof it too...the url to his post is http://www.therpf.com/showthread.php?p=539565#post539565"

:lol:lol:lol

Its easier than that....just point click and then play dumb. :confused :cool

Lots of really cool stuff, both authentic and replicas. They list what is real and not for the most part.

I have been searching the Flickr sets for a while and found some great BR prop photos. I have only seen one low quality pic of the Police Uniform and gunbelt there, but have yet to see any good shots of it.

From the changing displays of the photo sets, my guess is that they rotate the displays and since much of it is on loan and often shows up in auctions after being seen there (if it is the only one?) I am guessing that much of it is not there for very long as well. Mostly the Paul Allen stuff seems to stay. Again a guess though.

If anybody does have good pictures of the Police uniform please contact me PLEASE :)

Here are 20 I managed to snap last time I was there.

Most of these are from the temporary expanded exhibit they had last year and are not part of the regular galleries.

Some good, some not so good. I got busted twice taking them.

Enjoy.

Although most of the costume displays are fine. I found this inexcusable. It's hard to see but the picture of Sarek on the display isn't even in this costume.

:lol....yeah I was chased from there a time or two, it really depends on when you go. I work nearby so I would just drop in at lunch and there is usually no one there to hassle you.

If you could smuggle more pics of the Death Star, I'd pay you handsomely (I'd at least cover your admission price!)...

Really nice pictures. You had much more success than I did, trying to take pics on the sly. I wish the Spinner had still been there when I went last December, but I didn't see it.

The Klingon Battle Cruiser from TOS Trek -- that's really cool to me. I'm trying to finish my Capt. Cardboard Klingon cruiser kit now.

The upstairs area that is usually reserved for Special Events was loaded up with a bunch of stuff that was recently purchased by Paul Allen. As to not totally disrupt the rest of the Galleries they had them upstairs for 8 or 10 months and open to the public. I bet the Spinner is still hanging in there.

No, actually its part of a traveling exhibit called "Out of this World, extraordinary costumes from film and television" and is now on a National tour. The spinner is part of that AFAIK.

Prop Archivist, micdavis' DS pics were way better than mine but I'd be happy to try...I should still have an active membership, if so I'll go in next week.
