Hey guys
So, it's been a while since I last posted anything here but I just finished this side project that finally scratched an itch I've had gnawing at me for ages. I know this is an odd subject matter for this forum, but I think you guys would appreciate the overall aesthetic coolness.
A while ago, I saw this YouTube video British heavy tanks and the Conqueror was one of the featured machines. I was immediately drawn to the almost sci-fi design which looked ahead of it's time in a way. Who cared if it was effective or not when you had something that just looked this cool?! I got this kit really cheap and it never got started because I couldn't decide on a camo scheme.
Anyways, one day recently, I just happened upon an image taken from the Azure Lane range of tanks on World Of Tanks and, after a bit more searching, immediately knew what I was going to do.
So, 3 weeks later, this is my take on the Amusing Hobby Conqueror Mk2

It's not copied from any one tank. I just ran with the highlighting stripes idea and laid them out in a way that I thought accentuated the sweeping lines of the machine way more than just seeing it in a blanket green. I went with my favourite colour combo of NATO Black and Red and went for a Used but not abused and ready for the scrap heap look. I'm not that into heavily weathered tanks.
Well, that's it, I hope you guys like it as much as I do. It was a bast to make and its a really good accurate kit, to my very limited knowledge, if such things matter.
Thanks for indulging me with something a little bit different
