Terry Gilliam's film "Brazil" is one of my absolute favorites, and I always thought it would be awesome to try recreating Sam's outfit from the fantasy/dream sequences he experiences.

Has anyone ever seen this costume done before? Say I had plans to try tackling this sometime in the future, does anyone have any suggestions or ideas on which methods/materials would be the best way to go? It's just an idea I've been kicking around, and I'd love to hear what you all think.

I've never seen anyone do the costume, but the film is great so I'll look forward to seeing it.

I'd say probably a mix of various materials - metallic fabric, Plastazote/EVA foam, Sintra/Foam PVC board... no reason it has to be made of one thing

Here's a YT video for anyone who hasn't seen it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DYiiSxmT-p0
