Salzo V3 or EFX X-wing

Should I wait for the EFX and have it repainted or get the Salzo V3?

They will both cost approx. the same in the end, just want the best Hero X-wing, even though there's a few issues with the EFX they are easy fixes since it will be repainted anyways.

i ask me the same question
and what is the difference between the x wing hero edition and the salzo V3
which version is accurate ? :confused

I hope some experts will chime in, especially with the new Red 5 Hero photos that showed up

I think it's too early to say, as far as value for your dollar. How much will the EFx X be?

Depends on whether or not you want studio accuracy vs an idealized/implied version.

The Salzo V3 is as close as you're going to get for studio filming accuracy . But you have to ask him to add the specific parts. He made two different cockpits, different pilot figures etc.
From what I understand an accurate mounting point system is in the development stage from another party. Can we say opening wings and 6 points of mounting point greatness! The hull is hollow after all.

The EFX is idealized in that the cockpit opens (balk), the cockpit is a replica of the set cockpit, pilot looks like a real Luke etc. R2 and cockpit has lights.
Maybe they can add sound effects etc... ("The force is strong with this one", "Use the force Luke".

Hull wise it looks pretty close. The paint job off the factory floor will stink, that's a given on all the MR ships.

I have a V3, and am just starting to work on it. I would go with a V3 any day but thats only as I love painting these things. I would say if you want no hassle & a great looking piece go with the eFX X wing. You cant beet sitting back and looking at a model you have done yourself, if your going to have the EFX repainted then save the money & get a V3. I cant see it being sold for less than $899.00 + repaint, maybe around $1199.00? Get a V3, paint it, if you decide the EFX is better sell the V3 & get an EFX?

I'm going the Red 3 route with my V3, so no question the EFX wont do?

Think I'm gonna go with a Salzo V3 simply from a cost standpoint. I can paint it myself so there's gonna be a good sized price difference between the two.
