Safe to assume MR Vader TIE isn't gonna happen?

At this point, it sounds like the Master Relica X-Wing will become reality and that the verdict is still out on the Slave 1 (if someone knows more, I'd love to hear... even by PM).

Is it pretty safe to assume that MR won't be getting to the Vader TIE Fighter?

Can anyone shed any light?

It'll blow if it doesn't... this will become more of a "Holy Grail" replica to me than anything else since the other fighters from ANH have been made available in some studio scale format (licensed or otherwise).

I built up Chris Kelley's Vader TIE kit and have been happy with it more or less except for the size of the cockpit sphere which I never realized looked off until after I finished it:

It's kind of been a "placeholder" of my ANH studio scale fighters until the MR version was to come out.

Yes, I also am upset at this. MR have been putting off the Vader TIE for years now to the point of losing the license before offering it. I have a SE code 3 and it is pretty cool, but it is no accurate SS Vader TIE! :angry

I was eagerly awaiting this "grail" of the SW vehicles also. If this thing doesn't happen, perhaps we can persuade SWPropmaker to tackle this subject next. Hint hint!!!
