Is there any update on when these are expected? Been really patient so far, but would be nice to see some regular - maybe weekly - updates at this point. It keeps seeming like we’re getting close, but then weeks just continue to click by.
Can we expect these by Christmas? Before China’s New Year? What are we looking at right now?

First off, I always appreciate how positive you are, Halliwax. It's really one of those things that defines you.
Second, likewise, I'm also fine waiting for accuracy. Can't wait for the finished product to be in my grubby mits!

bless your soul, this dark saber will be the one to beat. there has been a long bumpy road, but instead of saber bay giving up and accepting "good enough" product, he's posted this shop to stay true to their word and produce what they promised.
i have no problem waiting for perfection, in the end it will all be worth it

I for one am one that is frustrated with all the delays. I thought we were going to have them in our hands months ago. But I too understand about all the delays. Delays will happen and things don't go to plan. I get that. But as a buyer of one of these sabers. Which as long as it has taken, you better believe I will be nitpicking the heck out of it. Paying $700+ for an empty hilt. I applaud Justin keeping the manufacturer to there word. Also I'm sure I'll be happy when I get my hands on mine. However I think we do need to be updated weekly like previously said.

As for me, I certainly want it in but I'm fine with the wait so long as it's to maintain quality. I have a Korbanth Darksaber to fill any cosplay/props purposes in the meantime that I'll sell once this one gets in (1 button only setup, a curved blade, a chassis that was made too large for the actual hilt, Wave 2's don't have room for lighted switches, etc).
Well I got my final invoice to fully pay on March 2nd. Implying the hilt would be ready soon. So after waiting 9 more months I'm frustrated, and that is why I have my spot open for someone else to buy.PLUS.. i dont have anywhere near the cash right now to pay the remaining deposit
I totally get it, sorry for your frustrations, but it sure does look like we are on our final lap to the finish line
