could we add sound cards and speakers to our order from your shop, just to combine shipping?
Those items ship from Shane who runs the shop in California
The DarkSabers will be shipping from
Me on Oregon.
You can have the items shipped to me only if you are international
Just include the invoice number in your shipping name and notify us for the address
The chassis included will be one from Goth 3D design.it will have the same feature as the Shtokcustomworx was advertised to have(separately printable metal chamber parts that can be ordered on shapeways)
But I couldn’t hold up the run any longer waiting for Shtok to finish their chassis design so Goth 3D design( the longest standing saber chassis designer/supplier) stepped up and finished one for us
If you want the one that Shtokcustomworx will design you will need to purchase it from their shapeways shop, his will be a great design, i just dont know when he would be able to finish it

any updates on when these will start to ship?
Shop said they would deliver by end of March
Then when they arrive running them over to the local powder coaters that should take few days
I’ll update when shop ships.
As you all may know the government in China is locking down some regions for 2 weeks.
I asked the factory making the hilts if this would affect timeline
They said it wouldn’t and they are aiming to ship by March 25th
We have all the pcbs in( for the switches and
Blade connection) and have the led strips for those who reserved
Blades
Blade mold is in production now and should be down a week or so after hilts ship
So everything is still trucking along and we thank you for your patience!

I thought we were getting a metal chassis and crystal chamber for these?
That was never the case.
Crystal chambers parts were always going to be an optional accessory that is compatible with the included chassis and could be ordered on shapeways

Would there be anywhere I could purchase extra PCB's that were designed for the blade? Just wondering as I may want to retrofit a classic clonewars/rebels Darksaber to fit the Sabertrade blade.
Of course thats un-less you've considered doing a run of those which would be able to accept this blade.
Also with the Metal chamber add on, would it be able to fit a 16mm marble?

So this is my first custom saber preorder, will we be given the chassis stl for self printing or will we have to order replacements via shapeways/online printing services
Contact us first to see if we have some leftover as we will order spares , if we do not not, then yes you will order from shapeways.
There will not be piy files because they are not printing in fdm it’s dialed in for a different type of printing
