Rush Build Alphonse Elric Foam Armor

As the title says, I'm building Alphonse Elric's Armor from Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood in a rush,

I'm already on the 3rd day (I work 3-4 hours a day on this guy) and so far I only have the bust done, I'm using some al pep files on google for this, and some details will be freehanded

There will be a cosplay convention on October 4-5 so I really need to get this done before those dates, although my cos group will attend the last day of the event, its better to finish the build as soon as possible

Thanks! And to answer your question. .no I'm a giant :lol I stand at 5'6" , too small to be alphonse but its fine, I'll just add a 4 inch flat form on the shoes since i'm looking for a proportionate costume to match my groupmates, my girlfriend will be May Chang and her sister will be Edward Elric, this build is bigger than my Gurren Lagann last year (also with my groupmates)

And as for an update. . .I finally got the upper parts of the armor done. I'm currently working on the thighs. . .

Since this is a rush build this will not be as good as my Ironman suits but hey, at least I've got myself a breather after all of those mark 42's I've built :facepalm

I changed the title into "rush build alphonse elric cosplay". . .I didn't finished it on 7 days and now I'm currently on the 13th day of the build. The event will be tomorrow Oct. 5 so I need to finish this guy tonight. .

And since I'm waiting for the balance some of my friends/clients, I decided not to sleep tonight (its 8:07pm) and work on the few things left i need for alphonse

I've got all the parts painted, all is left is to install the red led lights and make a suit up trial

More updates later since I'm currently working on this. I even building a Xiao Mei Papercraft!

looks like your forearms were twisting around on you funny, but other than that, it looks great. like you stepped right out of the cartoon.

Edward looks great too, can't comment on the rest of the characters as I just finished episode 2!

Al's forearm in the anime has a mobility like that, it only looks "twisty" because of the missing elbow armor.

thanks! my girl's character May Chang appeared on episode 15 (if my memory serves me right info). .watch the whole brotherhood series. . .its really a very good show

Both are very different. . . I suggest to watch brotherhood since it is "close" to the manga, while the first anime is really a different story.
