Limited Run RUN CLOSED * DL-44 ESB Blaster Machined Parts Set * RUN CLOSED

Re: DL-44 ESB Blaster Active Project

The 2nd one reminds me too much of the SE logos. I prefer the 1st one. Thats the Empire logo I grew up with.

Re: DL-44 ESB Blaster Active Project

#1. My favorite. I think it's the primal one. I drew this when I was a child (about 34!!! ago...). Sorry no references.

Re: DL-44 ESB Blaster Active Project

#1 Is most like the official logo .. but perhaps it could be a bit bigger on the plaque ?

Maybe move the line "Active project edition 1 of 60", down towards the "Han Solo DL-44" line and scale up the logo?

Edit: That .. or go with #2 :)

Re: DL-44 ESB Blaster Active Project

i like #2, but what ever the group decides on i'm in for 1!

Re: DL-44 ESB Blaster Active Project

No. 1, 2 or 3, in that order. No. 1 has all the elements. I like the severity of no.2, but it lacks the "Star Wars" heading.

Re: DL-44 ESB Blaster Active Project

Email sent for two Bespin flash hiders for some custom projects.

My real M19/ W/Bobadebt parts Luke ESB Blaster from the early 2000's is still on my display wall.

It is still one of my favorite props that I've ever put together.

Re: DL-44 ESB Blaster Active Project

I'm still being indecisive on which flash hider I want to go with for my Hoth version, but I promise an email will be incoming with my order in the next couple of days.

Since I don't have a real mauser, I'm going with Hoth as it was the only non-live fire, so to me it's the most "accurate" version I can build with a Denix. Just having a tough time deciding between two bands of knurling or three. Like others, I think it was a poor cast and was meant to have knurling but it didn't transfer well. I'll probably idealize a bit and go with the knurling, but then two or three bands? Decisions ...

**Accurized Denix includes the wood grips & brass screw, right? If I remember I think it does ...

Re: DL-44 ESB Blaster Active Project

There isn't a 3 band option for the Hoth Flash Hider, that would be the Bespin version.

For Hoth you have 2 bands, 1 band and no knurling.

Yes, Accurized mausers include wood grips and I install the brass grip hardware.

I know, I know. I feel the exact same way. I wanted to send in my request days ago but its really torturing me.

Re: DL-44 ESB Blaster Active Project Machined Parts Set $100

I'm very busy invoicing and processing payments.

I appreciate all of the kind comments in this post and the emails and if my semi automated replies sound curt, I apologize, I get in the zone and just cut and past and send, otherwise I lose focus and make mistakes

Thanks for the clarification. Yeah, I meant to say I was considering using the Bespin flash suppressor for the Hoth build, but being a late night reply I crossed my wires after cruising through the entirety of both threads to confirm the parts for my build.

I'll probably go with the 2 band option which is the general consensus for a Hoth build and I like the visual appearance of it, but it stands to reason the intent of the prop maker was to copy the hero; the Bespin 3 band, and the bands ended up blending due to a lesser cast. Intent vs. actual vs. appearance - I hear you man. It's a tough choice. On the bright side, I'm happy we have the choice.
