Rubies Supreme Stormtrooper

When we got to meet him for the first time he was actually quite impressed with the suits and made a comment on how he wished the ones in the movies were made as well. I think he understands where his bread and butter comes from and really DOES like the fans.

As for the looks of the Rubies trooper I'm holding off on any comments until I see it in person. I thought I was going to like the Chewie costume til I saw it in person and the Rubies Vader isn't BAD for the average Joe wanting to be Vader for Halloween just not as up to par as the hardcore costumer would like.

I agree, and would hope George would not try to "upstage us" so to speak, us fans, however he does love money as the rest of us....:love I really hope the armor sucks though:lol

Just saw something very interesting. I was watching the Star Wars SE Trilogy Bonus Disc 'Empire of Dreams' Documentary and at 35:24 Robert Watts is speaking and behind him on a mannequin is an ROTJ trooper with the same scooped neck design as on the Rubies...I wonder if this is the one they used for their design.

The neckline on the rubies looks like that because the chest is sitting lower than it should i think.
If you look at the SE/tour suits they display at exhibits they have the same shape neckline it's just higher up plus the helmet on the rubies looks too small so it doesn't cover up the neckline as much.

Could be the small female(I am guessing) mannequin it is on.

Looks ok, but I am not sure about the ridge around the torso armor.

Took a good look at it at Comic Con...complete crap. The ab/torso armor is poorly formed and detailed. The white ROTJ 'trim' on teh chest/back/torso/cod is molded in but it is 'bulbous, indistinct and just looks wrong. The helmet is godawful horrendous. I had hopes for this and the Halo armor but teh Halo armor was as thin as a plastic drinking cup. both were horrible disappointments. The Vader I could excuse as I think it was good for what it was but not this monstrosity. Oi
