RS Props Y-wing helmet

Has anyone else got their helmets. My helmet is number 36 and I have not heard anything yet. They finished a batch of 30 and then were supposed to be making each helmet individually. I wonder how much longer it will take?

I just received my helmet! #37
It is absolutely amazing! I literally just got it and opened it up. I'll take pics later.
I was really surprised to get it so quickly! Andrea emailed me over the weekend to say they were ready so I paid the balance and 3 days later all the way from the UK it's at my door.
I can't quit looking at it. SO MUCH DETAIL!!

Did you notice that one screw on the right side is placed wrong (it should be on the second stripe not between the second and third) and that the yamaha greeble on the right side is turned wrong by 180 degrees?
I did notice the yamaha bit but not the screw placement. I was going to ask them about the best way to go about rotating it but I haven't had time yet. not sure if it's just screwed on or hot glue or what. Not much I can do about the screw but that doesn't bother me. There's so much going on with this helmet that nobody would ever notice. There's also a big hole on the first stripe that I probably won't drill into the side of my helmet.

i think you should not rotate just the yamaha but the entire round thing where it is glued on.

this back thing is glued with hot glue to the helmet and maybe you can remove that.

The focus of my collection has shifted a lot in the two and half years since I ordered this limited piece, so I’m not sure I’ll be keeping it.

However, I couldn’t resist the opportunity to open it and snap some photos. The details are simply stunning.

Myeah, I know how you feel.

After all, that helmet is pretty banged up. I mean, look at it, all dirty, and scratched. Eeww! Not a great piece. And honestly, that design just looks silly.

I think you should get rid of it.

If you need help getting rid of it, you can DM me. I'll be more than happy to help a fellow RPF member. That's just what I do, always here to help.
