Interested in an FX version!
Thanks guys, will be collating the list and trying to get some visual matching/ mirror type updates on here soon!
We were working to finish up some adjustments on the model, and Ronin has really outdone himself.
Went back and refined the covertec, greeblies, and, largely, the grenade... I think it's just right now. Ronin modeled in a lot of nuanced detail- so fingers crossed it is captured quickly and easily by the engineers. We're both very pleased with the last minute catches.
At the moment we have a quote from our selected machinist which is good- I think the new drawings will be submitted for machinist review monday.
In terms of run projection- hopefully some images with the updates will get some more traction. ¨̮

Interested in static and FX!
Actually likely everything will be black oxide and chromed steel except the pommel (which will be 7075 aluminum), copper, and brass neck sleeves

Looks like you'll be doing the Threaded Bolt sticking out of the Emitter for the FX version as well. If so, I'm totally up for that!
The blade plug will come with a flush length bolt but a lengthened bolt can be added easily

Bin genauso der Meinung wie Mojave Trooper wegen des Emitters -wäre cool!
Nochmals würde mich interessieren, ob das Chassis abnehmbar ist (wäre eine feine kleine CC möglich - Platz müsste vorhanden sein... ist aber nicht notwendig wäre aber eine coole Option oder?
fragte Ronin, ob er bereit wäre mein Kit zu installieren - freue mich sehr darauf!!!!
Die Knaufkappe werden beide optionen zur Verfügung stehen?

A crystal chamber chassis is definitely possible I have already designed a few chassis for this saber which will be tested once I receive the prototype. Ok, es handelt sich eindeutig um ein "Fx Kit", vielleicht besteht ja noch eine Chance... Bin mit dieser Knopfkappe absolut zufrieden, sieht echt gut aus!
natürlich zeigt Ronin rechtzeitig ein paar Beispiele (cc), Prost, Leute!

Thanks for all the interest guys - we are keeping the tally and made some decisions regarding this run.
As a reminder this is all going RTS and will be offered to TheRPF first to account for this early interest thread.
All good news,
Ronin (Tony) has made the deposit for the FX run and the machinist is gonna start moving pretty quickly on the sample/ run.
As it works out - the most fiscal sense for this run is to initiate a somewhat larger run of FX hilts to start due to the complexity of the part assemblies. A fairly standard size run that the FX builder is typically used to seeing.
For economy of scale, this will be the best value for him with his starting funds and as a professional installer.
As soon as some of those orders get filled the funds for the Static deposit will go in. The Static run quantity may be a little smaller based on what we see here but... we'll see! There's some time on that one ¨̮
Otherwise, both of these will get a box with the run designed by yours truly. That design is in and will be produced simultaneously.
P.S. -my wife and I did just have a baby, but since we've had some traction in the downtime with the run I'm just letting you know where it's at- I still need to get you our more detailed comparisons and analysis so I apologize for that... It's still an important part of a big list of things I need to do.
