ROTJ E-11 question

I'm doing a ROTJ E-11 does anyone know the width of the cooling vents? also are the vents square or half round? Its hard to tell from photographs.

They are round, approx 19/32", the base gun being an MGC sterling. Or where you on about the vent rail channel? I'll post some pics for you in a bit.

Thanks for the picture. I tink I have what I need. I guess cutting a pipe down the middle would do. Unless someone has another idea?

If it is 19/32 - you can bet that it was originally 5/16 and got slightly bent at one time picking it up and putting it down, or just as liekly it got flattened ever so slightly when they riveted it onto the barrel. 19/32" is a REALLY rare size... and you know they didin't have it custom made
