Roman is one of the "old-timers" of this community and I've had dozens of transactions with him over the years. All of them have gone smoothly, his product is first rate and he's always been honest and professional. It's a fact that a guy can have a hundred "hurrays" and one "aw crap" and people will focus on the one "aw crap". I'm here to say nobody is perfect (because some people need reminding) and that Roman has done more than people realize for this hobby, community and collectors accross this and many other boards. And if anything ever went wrong, he made it right.

It's unfortunate this hobby has changed in such a way that retards the creative and talented people of this community from doing what they do best.

I wanted to publically acknowledge Roman for his hard work, his strong sense of ethics and his tireless commitment to this hobby. I also want to publically and personally thank him.

Roman, here's to you!!! Thank you!

I have dealt with Roman not once, not twice, not three times but approximately two dozen times. I have bought his DM, DM1, DM2, DM3, many plauqes, some cases, and even lightsaber stands. Never one single time was there a problem, never did he back out or change a deal. He is one of the most stand-up dealers, and people, I've ever known and I can definitely say over the years I do consider him a friend.

I saw the other story and, as is usually the case, there are instances where things go wrong, something doesn't work out right, something is misunderstood. But, as BMS said, it would be wrong for those rare instances to tarnish a good name...and Roman definitely is that good name.

I just want to throw my $0.02 in on top of BMS's well put post... I've only had one paid transaction with Roman and it was extremely satisfactory. He's been around here forever and has always produced quality parts and products.

I agree that a friendly nature and excellent quality of service should be just two reasons that he should be thanked for his tireless efforts. I only wish that we had more people like him around here.

A while back, I needed a kidney transplant and so I contacted Roman asking for one. I offered to trade him a MR force fx lightsaber for one, and out of the goodness of his heart, he told me that if I would just pay shipping, he would send me a free kidney since he had two. Now, long story short, by the time the kidney got here it was no good (aparently you need to ship these things overnight), but I never forgot Roman's generosity.

Last October my Onstar was broken. So I called up Roman for directions on how to get to Sesame Street, and he was there for me. That and the fact he has always been honest, and up front with me as far as fair pricing and available parts. Youre highly regarded as far as saber parts in general around here.

Well, just like in the other thread...I want to add my support to Roman...
As I said before, I've probably bought at least one of everything he has and several plaques over the years...Oh shoot, I've also done personal trades with him...I almost forgot.

And in all of that...I have never had a problem.

My biggest beef with Roman is ...where am I going to get my plaques made now???!!!

Without Roman's Empire and all his hard work I would not have been able to complete my OBI the way I wanted. When I saw his site was closing down on the OBI part, I was sadden by that discovery.
