Also in case you missed it from other postings. This was posted about the size of the seals used on the helmet for the band.
I currently have something I had laying around. I think it’s just a large rubber band. Someone once sent me some made from inner tube but they seemed tight and not cut very straight.
I also had two one at one time to replicate the double up look of the single long seal. However I reduced down to one. First, I Andes the yellow unit marking andI felt two bands covered the marking too much. Also I notice the band marred up the helmet shell and paint job. I went back and refinished it to fix it. However such marring appears on the screen used helmets as well.

Thank you kind sir! I remember they claiming they found the correct band actually being a weather gasket from a case or something that was used elsewhere on set
