Same here! I happened to find exactly what I was looking for at a thrift store for about $10, but now my problem is I can't remove the straps. I tried cutting through the boot (which didn't work at all) and then I tried to undo the screws holding the straps down, but I still had no luck. Does anyone know a more efficient way of getting these straps off?

We just drilled them off where they were attached to the boot, but I also used a different Lange boot so I'm not sure if they are attached the same way on yours.
What kind of drill did you use? I'm afraid I don't have very many tools at my disposal so my options are a bit limited.
Thanks, Kendra and Spectreseven. Really helpful info and photos! Spectreseven, you even got the stitching between her fingers! Was that hand done?
I noticed that some dye leaked through the stitch holes where I took off the velcro, but other than that it was okay. I put pieces of paper towels in the gloves while dying them and rolled up tissues and stuffed them in the fingers, too.
Hi girls, thanks you for your amazing job !
I'm looking for those Lange Boots, do you know where can I find them ? If some of you have the Lange boots, can I buy you 2 straps of it ?
Okay, I have managed to get some comparison pics of the hook types from the Czech back pack strapping rigs. The narrower hook comes from the leather rig and the wider buckle from the webbing rig.

The ones from the leather rig, the narrower one, appears to me to be closer to the size used on Jyn's vest - as per @smithjohnj observations.
If you look at the narrow hook with 1" / 25 mm webbing the fit is tight... In the hand one can see the round of the bend between the upper horizontal and the vertical sides, this is not coming through very well in the photo.

The narrow hook also has a closer profile / silhouette to the vest hook...

The wider hook looks a bit too wide? A bit too much of the upper bar shows on either side of the webbing? In the hand I can slide the hook side-to-side 1/4" / 6 mm or so either way. It doesn't 'feel' correct.

Not the most compelling review I'm afraid.
I'm almost positive they're TFA style binders. I modeled in 3D the binders for TFA and those ones appear identical to me, maybe with a slightly different paintjob. I shared the files for free here if you want to have a look:
There are several parts of the vest web greeblie. These are my observations which I presented previously. I believe the base is 1" webbing. The hook is slightly less than 1" or 25 mm wide and about 1 cm from front to back. The hook rests on the webbing and is attached at the top with a piece of narrower (less than 25 mm) webbing which surrounds the flat top and is sewn to the wider webbing. In the middle of the hook, behind the hook and lower bottom bar there are 4 separate hollow rubber tubes. These hoses are held in place by what I call a hose clip which is about 20 x 20 mm. (I provided my design for these clips in another post). Beadalon (a jewelry/beading supplier) makes a 4 mm and 6 mm hose. Using the 4 mm hose easily fits inside the hook and under the bottom bar. (EDIT: So the hook 'hinges" down over the hose clip and top of the hoses.) There are a total of 7 hose clips( inside and outside, both sides) and one left, lower, external connector for which I still do not have a good design or clear reference photo
Here is the photo I use to reject the ROK hook option and show the relationship of hook depth, hose, and webbing. However I am always interested in what others get from their analysis of available information.
