Sure go for it!!, IBut becareful: just pour in plaster a little at a time, or the palm will bulge out distorting the overal shape of the hand.
I had that happen on the first one so i had to file/rasp out the bulge to get the normal shape of the palm back to normal.

You could always put the glove on your hand and reinforce it's shape with duct tape, like a duct tape dummy, even going so far as to imbed some wire between the tape and glove for skeletal reinforcement. Just an idea...
