Hey robo, what's left to model? Just the spine pieces, thigh additions, and hip pods right? I know you have other projects, but when can we expect to see these released?

yea, lining things up is key. if lines are a micrometer off and you glue it crooked, that micrometer will multiply till you have a full millimeter or two off in the end.

I have found it helps to start from the middle and work your way out, especially with trim pieces. I had to cut a millimeter or so off the ends of some of my pieces but its easier to do that than fight a crooked pep.

Even if the finished model comes out a little crooked here and there, keep in mind that it's still just the base for a fully finished item. I've been picking away at the left bicep over the last couple of days, and even though some of the edges seem to be slightly longer than their "mates," it's nothing that a little creative resin/glass work can't compensate for.

A character in a book I read a long time ago said, "Think of the solution, not the problem." I think those are words to live by, and are applicable to most situations one might run into.

robo, Also the piece that goes between the bottom of the leg and the shoe, do you know what I'm talking about? I thought you had said you modeled that piece but have you released it?

Every part of robos Mark VI is awesome, can't wait to see the first one finished. It won't be mine for sure ...just pepping on the back and now i've no fingertips...just glue everywhere :lol

just noticed in that render that there's 2 copies of the left thigh there......forgot to hide one obviously...lol....

im lovin it dude, but now that i see it all together, i see what you mean when you said you had to alter the dimensions. the movie armour's legs are alot thinner and sleeker, and the boots are sleeker too. take a comparison to the IM2 desktop background to see what i mean.
