Robby the robot.

Did anyone here ever get the Robby paper model? Amazing plans to build a (lifesize if you want) Robby, just out of paper... keeping all proportions, and a perfect basis to finish it in a more detailed way. The plans are not online anymore though, but here is the thing!

There is this one available:

I remember now. The top middle is from a TV series called "Project UFO". Where can one get the updated pictures from?

Go to All Sci-FiALL SCI-FI :: Nothin' but pure science fiction! — under Sci-Fi Movies and Serials from 1950 to 1969Robby the Robot's Career. I've posted lots of pictures and a link to the episode (Sighting 4010: The Waterford Incident). This version (without the leg attachments and with the original chest mechanisms) was also in Space Academy and in the 1985 movie The Phantom Empire.

Many of the other robots gave been recreated — including Robby's "jeep" and can be seen at Robot Hut Museum

Thanks, the balls for the legs are 10" plastic outdoor Christmas ornaments. the balls at the top of the legs are 12" plastic Christmas ornaments. the shoulder balls are 12" acrylic lamp globes the arms are PVC pipe. the pelvis piece is carved solid foam same with the hands. let me know if you want to know anything else. Edmanrobot seeing your Robby I have decided to build one too. On your chest pice where did you get the tray part? And did you cut the slots or was it made that way? Thanks

the chest box was all scratch built, the outside frame was MDF the inner part was plastic sheet. the half cylinder was a PVC pipe.
Good luck.
Let me know if you find a place to make the dome.
