Ron Palillo, of 'Welcome Back, Kotter,' dies at 63 - Yahoo! omg!

at 63, a young man, but the last time I saw him appear on TV, I remember thinking that he didn't look like he was doing very well. I loved Welcome Back Kotter when I was a kid.

Actually it's Robert Hegyes and yes, he has passed away also.

Robert Hegyes - played Juan Epstein - died January 26, 2012 at age 60 (heart attack).
Ron Palillo - played Arnold Horshack - died August 14, 2012 at age 63 (heart attack).

Too you to go. Every time I saw him, Robert Hegyes, or Freddie Washington (his real name escapes me at the moment) in other shows, I always think of their Kotter character first - "that's <character> from welcome back kotter!"
