whats with this year?? all the good ones die...

RIP

He was doing such an amazing recovery too, I mean he came out of that coma nobody thought he would a few weeks ago.

Oh no! :(

I thought he was gone when he was in the coma, to come out of that, so sad

They got stuck with being disco kings but they did way more genres than that.

Tremendous talent in that group

Agreed. I had a weak spot for them, too.

As kid I remember my dad playing the Saturday Night Fever record over, and over, and over again. I grew up liking the Bee Gees for that reason.

A sad day indeed.

Yikes, Even the Reuters report ignores all the pre-Saturday Night Fever hits the BeeGees generated, which were many. Always loved these guys. It's been long enough that even the SNF stuff can be fun to hear, although I never liked disco. Still, after their career had slowed, you gotta hand it to these guys for reinventing themselves and coming back bigger than ever.

Which brother is still alive? Is it Barry?

Yep. Can't imagine what he's going through now. I remember in 4th grade, our teacher brought in the Saturday Night Fever album and basically created a disco dance floor one day. lol!
