Just found out Michael Ansara died on July 31 aged 91. Best remembered as Kang in Star Trek, Killer Kane in Buck Rogers, Mr. freeze in Batman: The animated series, the Blue Ginn in I Dream Of Jeannie.

RIP old friend and thanks for the many TV memories.

He was the best Mr. Freeze, i wish they had been able to get him for Arkham City but the actor who did it sounded a good bit like him. That's been a long career with a lot of great parts.

Would you believe that's Kif/The Brain that played the Arkham Mr. Freeze? I think he played Calendar Man, too, if memory serves correct.

He was also great as the technomage Elric in Babylon 5. But yeah, Kang was a great character, both in TOS and DS9.

Edit: oops, I forgot he was also in the Voyager episode "Flashback."

He'll be missed.

Wow sad news!

I bet his son and him are having a few laughs.

Barbera Eden most be in mourning. :(

Elric to Londo Molari Paraphrasing -
"I Foresee a time when Billions will be screaming your name"
"My Followers?"
"Your Victims"

If you have as deep and imposing a voice as his, you don't need money or fame to get women, just something to read out of.
R.I.P. Michael, thank you for the great work.

I loved his character work in so many shows and as as far back as Cochise, and will always love his portrayal of Kang! He gave Klingons a more noble persona than most any other actor.

RIP Mr. Ansara!

The first thing I remember seeing him in was the movie "Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea". Rest in peace.
