RIP Gene Hackman

New info out.
The dog in the closet is concerning.

Still very scarce on details, my first instinct was that she'd died and he was unable to care for himself and deteriated. The last pic of him from last year, he was very frail looking.
The dogs would've started eating them though and I doubt that sort of detail would've escaped leaking to the press.

Truly one of the all time greats. The Conversation, The French Connection, Superman, Mississippi Burning, Unforgiven. The list goes on. I couldn’t believe he was 95. I had to remind myself that Unforgiven was back in ‘92. Seems like just yesterday.

I read an article of the investigating officer saying “Obvious signs of death”. What the hell does that mean? …and they wonder why people speculate?

I think it just meant that he didn't check for a pulse because he didn't need to...it had clearly been a few days. I'm sure someone would have asked.

I saw an article about the investigation due to suspicious circumstances saying they had been gone awhile to the point parts of them were beginning to mummify...

Edit: I just read an update and they were obviously gone for while. You can search out details, if you insist.

Greatest criminal mind of our time... #1 Lex Luthor of all time. :(

Never saw a film where he wasn't fantastic.
Rest in peace.

Me, just realizing that nearly every single cast member from the 1978 Superman film are now all dead....and slowly seeing all the greats from the 70s and 80s all going.

The dog that died in the closet was shut inside a kennel and couldn't escape. The other two were loose.
I find it possible that the dog that was confined could have died from dehydration and starvation ... simply as a result of it having been confined for days.
And one reason for confining a dog to a kennel could have been that the dog wasn't of good health in the first place.
Of course we can only speculate without more info.
