Looked like holograms since lines were flickering out, but it may be cloaked Jockeys. My guess is that we're looking at a recording of what transpired in that corridor. One of the Jockeys seems to be running away from four Jockeys behind him. Perhaps there was some kind of mutiny? The running Jockey may be the bad guy trying to destroy Earth and the others don't want him to, or he's the good guy trying to stop the rest of the Jockeys from destroying Earth. I don't know. All I know is that something bad went down and at least one of them was up to no good.

Also, I'm betting that last scream heard in the end is Sigourney Weaver's scream from ALIEN just before she blows the Alien out the airlock.

If I had to guess, the image is a holographic recording of the Jockeys and some sort of incident, and the Jockeys are running for their lives.......

And the thing that is exploding, that looks like an egg or something....it's not....it's a head. I slowed down the video, and you can see it's a face, then boom, with sloppy goo flying out.

Oh sweet! Been out of state for the last few days, out of the loop too it seems. Didn't know another trailer was coming out... Wow.. Great stuff and I think I'm even more excited. I like the poor fella that took a pick axe to the back. Brutal, and the snake thing is pretty neat but I think the metling helmet takes it.

I do believe that cobra-head-ish proto-face hugger wraps up his arm/into his suit. TERRIFYING. Barrrrf.

It does shoot up his arm into his suit, I managed to pause it just at that point.

Jeez, is it me or did the thing that landed on the helmet also melt the skin off the guys face....It looks like you can see skeletal details on his face. Teeth, nasal cavity, cheekbones.

Got to say its a long time since I've wanted to see a film as much as Prometheus.

Agreed. Its amazing that Scott initially meant to create an Alien film, and then changed his mind for something new, which apparently doesnt even have an ALIEN in it, but yet has garnered more interest than if it did.

Is Prometheus the same ship as the Heliades (mentioned on the Weyland industries site), just renamed? Either way, both names are interesting.

That siren sound at the end of the trailer just sounds chilling.I'm actually pretty excited for this movie and cant' wait for it to show up on Blu-ray.

I don't think that's at all a coincidence.
Look at the original ALIEN head...you can see the skull, and we know that there's a clear dome over it all....so I really believe there's a connection between what we're seeing here and the ALIEN, meaning the original Ridley one.
Just a guess though...

This latest trailer seems to add credibility to this theory but it's something that another member originally suggested here a few pages back.

His leg work, his theory and supported with images backing this theory. Pretty compelling thought...which not only made sense to me at the time but now with what we're seeing...I'd say even more so.:thumbsup
