Of course they asked Gervais back. There was never any doubt. He's become the primary reason to watch the show.

The Golden Globes Awards is essentially "Hollywood roasts itself" night. For the first time since its inception it actually has a semi-legitimate reason for being. Unlike most awards shows, it's actually entertaining.
